2. Services Provided
Host8r provides secure container-based hosting for the open-source automation software n8n.
Each hosted instance runs in its own containerized environment and is managed by Host8r to ensure uptime and performance.
- Creation and management of individual n8n containers.
- Automatic server-level backups for disaster recovery only.
- Monitoring and maintenance of server infrastructure.
- Technical support depending on the selected plan.
Host8r is an independent hosting provider and is not affiliated with n8n GmbH or the official n8n Cloud service.
3. Account Registration
To use the Services, the User must create an account and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and all actions performed under their account.
4. Subscriptions, Pricing, and Billing
Host8r services are offered on a subscription basis (monthly or yearly).
Prices are displayed in various currencies depending on the market, payment processor, or the User’s location.
- All prices exclude applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.
- Invoices are automatically generated and accessible in the customer account or on request.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
- The User may cancel their subscription at any time; service remains active until the end of the paid period.
5. Refund Policy and Right of Withdrawal
By purchasing a hosting plan, the User agrees that the service starts immediately after payment.
In accordance with Article 16 of the EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the User acknowledges and expressly waives any right of withdrawal once the service has begun.
No refund will be granted once payment has been processed, including in the case of cancellation shortly after activation.
Host8r does not offer any form of buyer protection, refund guarantee, or cooling-off period unless required by applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
Users agree to use Host8r’s infrastructure responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws.
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Hosting or distributing illegal content.
- Using the service for spam, phishing, or malicious software.
- Attempting to access or disrupt other users’ containers or systems.
- Reselling or sublicensing Host8r’s services without prior written authorization.
Host8r reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or endangers system integrity.
7. Backups and Data Responsibility
Host8r performs periodic server-level backups of its infrastructure for the sole purpose of recovering from critical hardware or system failures.
These backups are not intended for individual container restoration and cannot be used to recover a specific user’s instance on demand.
Each User is solely responsible for creating, exporting, and storing their own backups of workflows, data, and configurations within their n8n environment.
Host8r shall not be held liable for any loss of data caused by user error, software malfunction, or failure to perform individual backups.
8. Service Availability and Maintenance
Host8r aims to maintain optimal service uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Scheduled maintenance, updates, or external network issues may temporarily affect availability.
When possible, Host8r will notify Users of planned maintenance in advance.
9. Data Ownership and Security
The User retains full ownership of all data and workflows hosted within their container.
Host8r acts solely as an infrastructure provider and does not access or modify user data, except for technical maintenance or legal obligations.
Host8r implements standard security measures including encrypted connections, access control, and restricted administrator privileges.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Host8r shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (including loss of data or profits).
- Service interruptions caused by third-party providers or network outages.
- User errors, misconfigurations, or failure to maintain their own backups.
Host8r’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the User during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Intellectual Property
The name, logo, design, and branding “Host8r” are the exclusive property of the Company.
The n8n software remains the intellectual property of n8n GmbH and is used under its open-source license.
12. Termination
The User may terminate their subscription at any time via their dashboard or by contacting contact@host8r.com.
Host8r may suspend or terminate access in case of non-payment, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, user data and containers may be permanently deleted after a short retention period.
13. Data Protection and Compliance
Host8r complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
All customer data is hosted in the European Union and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Users worldwide benefit from the same level of data protection.
14. Modifications to the Terms
Host8r reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Users will be informed of any substantial change via email or notice on the Site.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by European Union and French law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it amicably.
Failing agreement, jurisdiction shall lie with the competent courts of La Roche-sur-Yon, France, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
